What is MCP

MCP is the country’s first one stop registration portal for contractors in the construction industry. It provides a single-sign on facility for contractors to register with four (4) licensing agencies in Malaysia.


The participating agencies are:
1. CIDB
2. PKK, MEDAC
3. SPAN
4. ST

The portal aims to improve the ease of registration process in line with the government’s initiative for Ease of Doing Business.

Advantages of MCP

For Registered Contractors, it provides:

      • Single Sign-On facility for access into multiple agencies registration
      • Dashboard with information on registration status
      • Status of application process
      • Alert on expiring license or permit
      • Contractors’ report card

For the Public: The portal enables the public to run a search for contractors and access the contractors profile without having to register into the portal.

About the Initiative

The Portal is a platform for leading construction and infrastructure contractors to register with various regulatory agencies through one portal.


As part of the Construction Industry Transformation Program (CITP) initiative, the Portal aims to improve and streamline the registration process among contractors with regulatory agencies involved. Various regulatory agencies through the Portal are committed to ensuring that portal members comply with all aspects and relevant laws.


Any action taken against a member can be viewed by the regulatory agency through this portal.

CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT BOARD (CIDB)


The Construction Industry Development Board is responsible to regulate, develop and facilitate the construction industry towards achieving global competitiveness. They advise the Federal & State Government as well as stakeholders on matters affecting the construction industry.

Ministry of Entrepreneurs Development and Cooperatives is responsible in regulating, approving and coordinating of nationwide road & toll networks. They also advice and support CIDB development services for country's construction industry.
